I am really not that normal

Your Blogging Type is Unique and Avant Garde
You're a bit ... unusual. And so is your blog. You're impulsive, and you'll often post the first thing that pops in your head.Completely uncensored, you blog tends to shock... even though that's not your intent. You tend to change your blog often, experimenting with new designs and content.

Little things excite me

J has mastered rolling on to his back when placed on his stomach!

I know - stop the presses.

It's a big deal to me, to know that he is progressing and healthy. After the scare with the hospital, I need to know every thing is ok.

so at 6 months - yes already 6 months, he is 18 lbs - reaching to grab things...Especially if you are eating or drinking.

so this is a good thing - let's see what the doctor says at the next appointment

It was Father's day yesterday

Happy Belated Father's Day to all the Dad's out there.

I was going to get up on my soap box and say all the Real dads, but it isn't worth it. Those of you who do what you are supposed to, I hope you get recognized for all of your hard work and determination.

Give yourself a pat on the back :)

I have been splitting my time

Between Blogger and Myspace.com. A friend of mine had gotten me into it. It's fun to read what he and others are up to.

I would say one thing, if you don't want to be found, don't sign up there. I had someone contact me that I only had a passing acquaintance with. Not complaining too much, he isn't a creep or anything.

So what's new -

I wrote an email to J's dad when I saw him sign onto MSN and then sign off when I said hi. Strangely enough that act didn't sting, it was more a sense of disappointment washed over me.
So I wrote the email. One that would probably make any single male happy. I told him that he's off the hook. I won't send him anymore pictures, I won't call anymore and I won't try to contact him in anyway regarding his son.
And truly, I was under the notion that we could still be friends. I am not angry with him, just really disappointed as J is a great baby. He's adorable and so active, he is very alert and wants to know everything that is going on.
So that is done, J's father is deleted off of the phone, taken off of the contact list for MSN.

another chapter closed.

Now may family says I should go after him for child support, but I don't want him to be angry to pay, I want him to want to help.

Plus I need to get my act together. Make it better for MY family, this is where my energies have to lie.

So - Goodbye...Maybe one day you'll come around to see what you missed out on.

So it's June

And summer is on it's way. The weather has improved in some ways ie it's warmer. But in others it stinks. Lots more rain - thunderstorms to be exact.

Being without a car, thunderstorms can be - problematic to say the least. Trying to pick up the boys from the babysitter the other day was an adventure. Luckily I had the caddy of a stroller that my father and step mother bought me. It's what they call a travel system with a car seat and matching stroller. Because the car seat is rear facing, and has a cover, I could cover the baby from the back, and then use the stroller cover to shield him in the front, this made a happy dry baby in the middle of a downpour....
This also means it meant a completely wet mom and older brother. The rain was coming down so hard that by the time we reached the house and got inside (only took about 9 minutes ) The cup holders on the stroller had about an inch and a half of water in them, I was soaked to the bone. I needed to ring out my hair!
luckily my son has no hair LOL so that part didn't bother him. But he was making another huge puddle in the hallway.

that was two days ago. It's still raining on and off. Hopefully will clear up soon. I am tired of it, but people's lawns look great!

Working from home is ok in some ways and very annoying in others, but I guess I have to get used to it. I am sick of the rotating schedule, it makes it hard for me to be consistent with the babysitter and hard for me to get the baby if it becomes late.

we shall see how that goes.....
